"bling" Becomes Marketing Verbiage
I noted earlier this year that "Bling" had jumped the Shark.
So it really shouldn't have been any big surprise while picking up holiday presents and stuff in Target that I came across THIS sign:

Now that "Bling" the word has become a marketing phrase for chain discounters like Target, can we please now finally retire it?

I seem to remember MTV doing just that a few years ago.. There was a commercial with an old lady refering to her 'bling' and then they listed a born and deceased date for the term... not sure about the specifics, but I recall something along those lines
