Barron's online edition ran with Monday's Free Lunch: Myths of the Greenspan Era. Once again, the crew there came up with a better title than I: Cutting Through the Bull About Alan .

"FEDERAL RESERVE CHAIRMAN GREENSPAN'S imminent retirement has become the largest lovefest since Woodstock. Alas, we cannot avoid adding to the chatter. Besides, how many Fed chairs will retire in our lifetimes? Perhaps we can act as a counterballast to all the accolades and bon mots.
