Totally agreed as to one of the better things to come from GM in a long time. Not sure about those portholes though. Does ANYONE in the desired demographic that Buick has been chasing for years know the history of the portholes? Or even cares?

The Buick portholes were functional (and still are today) in the sense they created another way to help cool the vehicles down. I don't know the exact brand they started it with, but it was in the 30s. On and off Buick used them until the 70s. They've recently regained popularity on the facelift of the 2003 (or 4) Park Avenue. Apparently it was decided to put them back on when Maserati used portholes on their vehicle. Since it's a trademark Buick signature, Buick put them back on. Now the Lucerne and the Enclave will be the 2 Buicks with portholes. 3 on each side means 6 cyl, 4 on each means 8 cyl. They've become popular to buy and stick on vehicles from PT Cruisers to many other vehicles. However they aren't punched in the sheetmetal like Buicks.

Yeah, okay. Ive seen specs and all of that now where the hell is the mileage and price? Ha, they think they're sneaky. V6 270 HP, its probably another gas guzzling over-priced luxary SUV> I love it like hell though.

crappy name though. An "Enclave" is somewhere that you're stuck in. Which sounds like the correct usage:
"Ahh Miss Jones, come over here into my enclave".
"The refugees were trapped in an enclave and gunned down".
