I think it's only fair to point out that those British troops are largely being redeployed to a different breach in Afghanistan.

apart from the fact that UK professional forces are limited in number and have to be utilised on a priority basis; I am certain that many of them will be relieved to know that they don't have to rely on american A-10s for air "support" in Afghanistan.
