Here's a map as to when the various states granted woman the right to vote
(Lets hear it for Missippi! -- yeah, March 22, 1984 -- 23 years ago!)

Uuuh, Barry, aren't you being a little hard on Mizzzizzzzipppi (spelled perfectly, right?).

The 19th amendment became the law of the land in 1920 when Tennessee ratified it, and ratification afterwards is purely unnecessary and symbolic. Note that Alaska and Hawaii, which became states after 1920, have never ratified it.
