Coldplay is giving away a song -- unlike Radiohead, who gave a way a full album -- as a promotional schtick.

For making a 99 cent product free, they are likely to get plenty of free promotion from gullible bloggers who -- Hey, wait, a second . . .

a decent song, brian eno adds instant cred to these guys, because lets face it Chris Martin's lyrics are grade school and the drummer knows one beat. But a productive step in the right direction. Speaking of radiohead, that in rainbows could be on my top ten of all time, keep playing that album and it grows into a fantastic trans soundscape, aging like a fine wine. who said music is dead? It's morphing into version 2.0.
