Dan Gross' Moneybox column in Slate gives big ups to the Big Picture. Dan referred to our clear eyed view of what's become a contentious issue: the so called "Self-Employed Work-at-Home Contractors."

I stumbled across your blog while I was doing some online research. The only thing the unemployment rate considers is how many are collecting benefits. Many exhaust their benefits, give up on finding work and end up on assistance, or start working part-time jobs to try to make ends meet.
