Comment Glitch: Avoid Multiple Posts
Typepad has a glitch -- it gets hung up after you complete the Turing test ("Verify your comment"). To enter a comment w/o multiple posts, open a new explorer or firefox window by right clicking "Comments." (option click on a Mac)
Write your comment, hit preview. You will be asked to "Verify your comment" -- often, several times. Carefully enter the precise letters and numbers only ONCE. Then MINIMIZE THE WINDOW AND LEAVE IT ALONE. The comments have been entered, and are showing up even if it looks like Typepad seems to be "hung" or "frozen."
You can check this in a new window -- the comments will appear even before typepad finishes processing that page, or while you have been asked to "Verify your comments."

Alternatively, write the comment in the original window and hit the post button ONCE and wait. It takes about a minute for it to process.
