Davos Blogs

Thursday, January 25, 2007 | 02:45 PM

I have never been a big fan of the temporary blogs -- by the time they build up a body of work, find a voice and a following, they disappear. The NYT Red Carpet Oscar blog is a classic example.

The latest blogs in this genre are Davos related. Both the NYT and the WSJ have created Davos blogs, but I can't imagine either gaining any traction.

The NYT has integrated their "Davos Diary" into DealBook (which grows in size and scope). The Journal has the separate Daily Davos.
