Really, what else is there to say about employment?

A half a million new unemployment claims, and ongoing economic slowdown. Is there anyone who has high expectations for this number -- with or without Birth/Death adjustment.

Consensus is for a cool 100k loss.

I'm out of pocket at 8:30am, so feel free to update the details in comments . . .

Birth death adjustment was +42,000, including 12,000 new jobs in construction and 8,000 new jobs in finance.
