Funny that Scientology was used... anyone who has
followed some of the history of both Scientology
and the Internet knows that the Scientologists
have spent lots of time, money, and effort to
suppress any web sites containing critical or
negative opinions of their "church." At one
point they sued Google to prevent www.xenu.net
from coming up when one searched on "scientology."
I'm sure they've pursued similar efforts offline
as well.

Maybe Scientologists don't riot or bomb embassies,
but they do sic their lawyers on just about anyone
who disparages them, often with similar economic
results.
