XSR48: a "supercar on water"
Its a holiday weekend, so I'll be out on the boat:
The XSR48 is a supercar on water, a luxury powerboat with supercar looks. With a total of no less than 1600hp, and as much of 2000hp, from two bi-turbo diesel engines, the XSR48 has supercar acceleration to match its stunning appearance. Top speed: over 100 mph.
Yours for only $1.95 million dollars . . .
Video of the XSR48 in action can be seen here.

I agree with Chad that I'd rather be out there in a sailboat or kayak, but, hey, to each his own. Barry blogs hard. Let's let him have some fun without the guilt trip. Enjoy the ride, Barry!

Yeah, you're right, Darrell--so long as he promises to tether a banana boat (for the rest of us) to the back.

This is what you need....

Same contemporary styling, but with sails...

Whoa! Though I'm a Beetle Cat (frugal New Englander) kinda guy, I WOULD pay for a weekend (er--an evening, perhaps) on one of THOSE boats (Wally-style). Too opulent for me full-time, but a weekend in the right place...you bet!
Cheers!

Barry:
You don't really have one, do you (a la Linkfest)?
I'm all wind-power, baby. Can't think anything more boring (and disassociated with nature) that going 100 mph on water in a semi-closed cabin.
If you really enjoy the sea, buy a laser (sailboat) and give the rest of the $$ to a good charity...
My .02 and best to you,
Chad
